How the IDRS is Working in Marion County
This course is directed to licensed embalmers and interns currently serving Indiana and adjacent areas. All of us are quite award of the changing emphasis on sanitation and health affecting the Embalmers' profession. Our distinguished course faculty will provide the newest information in an acceptable and understandable manner. All licensed embalmers are urged to attend.
Objectives
These series of seminars are designed to provide current and advanced information on laws and rules governing sanitation and disease control measures related to the embalmer's profession. At the conclusion of the seminar participants should be able to: (1) Understand the need for grief counseling for clients; (2) Identify issues involved in dealing with tissue gas; (3) Assess challenges in working with the IOPA; (4) Recognize the traditions associated with Hindu burial customs; (5) Analyze how IDRS is working in Marion County.
Accreditation
The Indiana Public Health Foundation, Inc. designates this continuing education activity for 5 credit hours in the area of sanitation and health.
